About the Role
We’re hiring a Backend Engineer to architect and build scalable APIs and backend services for our Penetration Testing-as-a-Service platform. You’ll play a key role in powering our report generation engine, integrating with AI summarization models, and ensuring high availability and security.
Requirements
What You'll Do
Build and maintain secure APIs and microservices to support AI-driven vulnerability reports
Architect and optimize our AI engine integration with the core platform
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to ensure end-to-end feature delivery
Develop audit logs, user roles, and access control for security-sensitive components
Write clean, testable, and scalable backend code
Mentor junior engineers and shape code quality standards
Tech You’ll Work With
Express, NestJS, FastAPI
TypeScript, Python, C# (.NET Core)
GraphQL APIs and RESTful services
PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS
What You Bring
5+ years of backend development experience with modern frameworks
Strong understanding of API security, auth mechanisms, and vulnerability mitigation
Experience working in regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC2, PCI-DSS) is a plus
Bonus: Exposure to AI/ML integration or security scan parsing/analysis tools
